Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Excellent location in the centre of Tenterden and a great base to explore the area. Cottage is warm, cosy and well-equipped. It was very cold during our stay but the cottage heated up very quickly. Parking was an unexpected bonus. Fairy lights and Christmas tree appreciated. Detailed information supplied by owner which was very useful.

Negative: The cottage is compact and has steep stairs. Previous occupants must have had a dog as residual smell but perfumed candles were supplied. The bathroom was about to be upgraded which was needed, however, the cottage was very good value. We missed having a dining table and as we were there over New Year we couldn’t take advantage of dining in the courtyard garden.

Summary: Great location and cosy cottage.
