The Reservoir, our specimen lake, exclusive to lodge guests only, has Carp weighing up to 33lbs plus, and trout weighing up to 20lbs plus. We’re just 10 minutes from Welney Wetlands Centre and we sit right on the Hereward Way long distant walking route.

Fishing at Head Fen Country Retreat from 1st January 2022 will now be charged at £35.00 per person, per stay to fish on any of our 4 lakes. Fishing tickets will be available to purchase from reception on arrival.
The twin beds can be linked to form a king size on request.
A £100 security deposit (£150 if your party includes a pet) is required 5 days before your holiday start date, this should be paid over the phone to Head Fen Country Retreat. This will be refunded within 7 days of departure provided there is not any damage/loss to the property.
The park also offers the following additional services on request: Additional cleaning service (requested by visitor): £50 Additional linen charge per break: £10 (linen is changed free of charge for stays over 7 nights) Additional towel charge £5 per bundle (1x hand towel, 1x bath sheet) Dressing gown & slipper hire: £5 each

Hot tubsPlease may we ask that when using the hot tub, all clothes are removed and swim wear is worn, you must wash with clean water only and no soap before entering the hot tub to be free from soaps, oils, creams, suntan lotion, perfumes, and beauty products. This is to protect from damage to any of our hot tubs. If these rules are not adhered to, we will impose an extra cleaning charge which will be taken from your security deposit at a cost of £150.00.
