From the train station you can make it to Bruges in 11 minutes, Gent in 42 minutes, Brussels in 1:28 minutes, and Brussels airport in 1:42 minutes. Supermarkets, bars, and dozens of restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walking distance.

If you are coming by car, 30 meters away from my home, in the Grote Markt, you can park for free between 7pm and 9am, except for the night before the weekly market. If you need free parking during business hours, you will need to drive further away from the beach. For example, on the corner of Blankenbergese-steenweg and Lemallaan, there are some free parking spots, which are 17 minutes walk away from our apartment.
