Summary: The room was old and in dire need of a revamp/upgrade! Laminated tops were peeling, ceiling had quite a lot of cobwebs throughout the room. Toilet seat wasn’t secure, bedside light was faulty and flickered like crazy so I had to unscrew the bulb. The TV was tiny in the corner of the room. The Wi-Fi was very poor, constantly dropping in and out. Old shower curtain that wants to give you a full body hug when your showering is a pain in the backside! When are hotel chains going to get rid of them. Finally, I had to pay £5 per night for parking because I booked my room through Hotels.com. Told if I had booked directly through Days Inn it would have been free. Considering the car park was huge and at a service station on the A50 this just seemed like a money grab to me! Won’t be using this hotel ever again.
