Summary: The staff and main building were excellent; however, I was in courtyard in an annex out of shot of lovely sales picture. It was an accessible needs room (I assume due to hotels.com booking) but no cheaper than direct booking. The tv was on a shelf at ceiling height so difficult to watch unless standing. The tap fell off but luckily slotted back on and worked with care. The room door was an internal stable type door so had no insulation or sound proofing meaning people accessing a storage room next door seemed to be in the room along with phone conversations. It was also slightly concerning to come back and find a Land Rover in court yard partially blocking room access followed later by listening to engine ticking over . In fairness for what I wanted the hotel served its purpose; however, for slightly more and an uber ride I could have got sound proofing from airfield plus a pool. It all boiled down to a taxit and convenience
