If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle then this is the perfect cottage to stay in. The open-plan lounge is light and airy yet cosy and vibrant, with amazing views over the rolling limestone hills. Farriers is located in the village of Ilam between the meandering River Manifold and River Dove valleys.
You won’t be stuck for things to do - Ilam Hall and Park (National Trust) is nearby and if you’re looking for something a little more challenging, hike up to Thor’s Cave. Dove Dale isn’t very far and you’ll be pleased you visited after hopping across River Dove on the famous and iconic stepping-stones and starring in wonder at Thorpe Cloud in the distance. Manifold Valley and Paradise Walk with its vanishing river will amaze you. However, if you just want to go for a few simple walks and take in the countryside, there are plenty to choose from. After a wholesome day out, return back to Farriers to relax and drift off in the comfortable king size bed.
