Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Quite difficult to find at first, the location took us to a random house, in the end we found the place further up the road. Super lovely host, very friendly and bubbly! The tent is completely away from absolutely everything very peaceful and quiet, great privacy no walkers or roads and very far from the host's home. She provided us with some wood for the stove and fresh water. Unfortunately the toilet wasn't accessible but there was another option provided. Upon leaving, the host offered for us to see her farm animals including Highland cows, goats, baby peacocks, sheep, geese and turkeys. We even got to feed them! Very friendly animals. I think if I go that way again I'll definitely stay here again - but probably in the Summer.

Negative: There seemed to be an issue where the host wasn't made aware we were coming, so it was quite a shock for her... BUT she welcomed us with open arms and let us stay regardless. We were at the end of a storm staying here. There was some wetness on the floor, possibly due to condensation. Obviously, the toilet being out wasn't great, but as said before, we had another option provided for toileting.
