Summary: I had a great stay at HeyHa house. The couple who runs the guest house are Chiang Mai natives. They are super fun to talk to and give great advice. They are laid back and offer nice coffee, tea, and snacks downstairs. The room itself was big and luxurious, with a huge bed. It was clean and they added fresh towels and made up the bed everyday. The air conditioning worked wonderfully, and was a great escape from the April heat in Northern Thailand. The neighborhood was a little outside the city, but fine if you don't mind walking, and it's easy to grab tuk tuks or red cars into the city during the day. There were plenty of convenience stores and street food stands right nearby, including delicious crepes. There weren't many tourists around, but tons of Thai people riding around on motorbikes, so I would say it's a great way to see genuine Thai city life. I would definitely stay here again! I hope to come back during November to see the Loi Krathong festival (as suggested by the hosts) :)
