Summary: The location is great as the beach is the best on the island. The rooms are great size. Though most of the service staff are nice there is no consistency to how the service is provided. There didn’t appear to be any management on the property to provide much needed direction to the staff. Like others have mentioned, the price point is high for what you get. You have to accept that you’re paying for the location and the beautiful beach. If you’re looking for a resort with more professional, trained staff where the bungalows and grounds are far better maintained then I suggest taking a look at Shantaa Resort. We had an opportunity to visit them as well. Shantaa has beautiful hill top views but no beach as compared to High Season. I would like to give a shout out to Kongtup, Nam, Valen, Chalee and Non for their wonderful service, attitude, smiles and service! Thank you!
