Calver itself does not have its own train station. The nearest train stations are in Grindleford (about 2 miles away) or Hathersage (about 4 miles away). Located on the Hope Valley Line, Grindleford Station connects you to Sheffield (to the east) and Manchester (to the west). It's also a great starting point for hiking and exploring the Peak District. The Hope Valley Line is relatively frequent, with trains running every 30 minutes during peak times, but less frequently at weekends or evenings. The 218 or 173 buses run between Calver, Baslow, and Bakewell, with a stop at Chatsworth House. These services operate regularly during weekdays, but be aware that evening services can be limited.
