Summary: Upon arrival my room was terribly hot, 27 C. I called the front desk to ask for help in getting the room cooler. They sent up a young man who knew nothing about the thermostat or the AC system. Waste of time. I requested a second room key so I could leave it on while out to dinner. It took 6 hours for the room to cool to 21 C. The next morning, I found out the hard way that the hair dryer did not work. Once again a call to the front desk and the same young man appears at the door to basically check and see if I was too stupid to work a hair dryer. Nope, he could not get it working and no, they have no spares. No one even tried to help. I finally fiddled with the cord and got it working just enough to be able to present myself at work. My next trip to Iasi will be to a newer, more modern hotel.
