Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is exceptional! Such a beautiful and quiet area with the most lovely little streets and homes surrounding! We loved visiting the local Wetland Wildlife Sanctuary and public transport was very easy to access with a bus within 2min walking distance and both tube and rail lines within 15min walking distance down the Thames. Lots of lovely shops and food spots nearby and a Lidl, Sainsburys and Waitrose all down the road for all your grocery needs! We wish we could stay here for much longer than we did, its gonna be hard to try out new areas after we have been spoiled with Putney! The place itself is very well heated for winter months (except for one bedroom, but we liked it that way). Wifi was fast! Water was hot! The kitchen is well stocked with spices and condiments for cooking, which I always really appreciate.

Negative: The place was a little smaller than it looks in the photographs, though we still felt we had plenty of room for our needs. The upstairs neighbours were a little loud late in the evening, but not enough to officially complain about. The cooktop never got the pot to a full boil, and the showerhead was broken when we arrived. The heating doesn't work in one room, but that worked in favour of our comfort preferences, however the duvet's were very warm and cozy. Otherwise, the place is incredibly well-maintained and very clean and warm in the shared spaces.

Summary: Comfortable, quaint and peaceful!
