Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely views over the river. Basic accommodation but clean and had everything we needed. Comfy and clean beds. They only had singles but the owner pushed them together to try to accommodate our needs of a double bed. About a 20min walk to the main bars and dock but you can hire bicycles for the day for 30.000 Kip and they also offer a pick up service from the dock. They also arranged a moped hire for the day, offered good rate currency rates and a morning fishing trip. Really lovely owners.

Negative: A little bit further from the dock but loads of shops and restaurants within walking distance and as mentioned before the bicycle hire so not a problem for us. Walls are thin so you can hear people moving around when they get up or come in at night.

Summary: Lovely comfortable rooms overlooking the river
