Millwheel Cottage is a beautiful single level stone cottage located on the Colmer Estate in the heart of South Devon. Sleeping up to 4 guests it's a comfortable base to relax in or explore the area. Beaches, quaint towns and vineyards are all within a short drive. Perfectly located to explore the local beaches and towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth. The estate includes a lake, woodland meadows, tennis court, walled gardens, play area and swimming pools, indoor and outdoor (seasonal).
This is a wonderful holiday destination with fantastic facilities on the doorstep. Whilst there is plenty to occupy busy people at Colmer, there are many places within the extensive grounds of this lovely location for those seeking peace and tranquillity in an idyllic location.
The front door leads into a light open plan living area. Seating area with large sofa and armchair, smart TV, books and games, Wi-Fi. Dining table to seat 4.
The kitchen area has an electric hob and built-in oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and microwave.
Off the kitchen a hallway leads to Bedroom 1 with a Super king 6ft bed, built in wardrobes and bedside drawers.
Bedroom 2 has 2 x single 3ft beds and wall mounted storage.
The bathroom off the hall has a bath and rainfall shower over, basin and WC, with underfloor heating.
To the front of the cottage is an enclosed courtyard with table, chairs and charcoal barbecue. Ample grounds stretch beyond the cottage within the estate for guests to enjoy.
