Summary: Although very clean and tidy the hotel is dated and definitely needs an upgrade especially with making the rooms more soundproof. During our stay the fire alarm kept going off during the night. We had to call reception to clarify if we needed to evacuate or not which we found poor as the majority of guests appeared to be quite elderly. There was no explanation or apology from staff the next day. This is a moderately expensive hotel and we expected better.
