Summary: Location was ideal for our trip - easy to find and large car park. The building looks very impressive externally and the inside was just stunning. The decor and surrounding give the place a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted at reception and made to feel very welcome. The room was outstanding - plenty of room and the bathroom was unbelievable - everything was so clean and comfortable. Had a lovely meal in the evening - first class and excellent portion size - cooked to perfection for both of us. Service was superb and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely too - had the best poached eggs I have ever had and the breakfast set is up for the day around the Lakes. Will definitely return - the best was so comfy and the temperature of the room was just right - slept like a log and fully refreshed the next day. A gem of a hotel and I cannot compliment enough. I would also express my sincerest thanks to the staff and management who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as they could 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Summary: Hotel was lovely, well maintained and had a great vibe. Staff were considerate, polite and helpful. Hotels.com had made an error in booking our room but this was sorted out by the hotel so had a great stay. Would recommend

Summary: we were very happy with the breakfast and evening meal etc the staff were very good, the room was ok except for the winding stairs to the top floor but we managed alright,
the only problem with the hotel we found was the lack of
a bus service etc you have to get taxi if you want to go into town or drive and find car park, all in all a lovely hotel and staff.
