Positive: I wanted to visit the Plain of Jars in Laos, which led me to Phonsavan. Staying at The Hillside Residence was an absolute stroke of luck. I was contacted in advance regarding pickup, as I was arriving late by bus. They also brought me to the airport at the end of my stay. Every morning, breakfast was freshly prepared for me at the exact time I requested the day before. They even arranged my preferred tour directly from the hotel, providing lots of information as well as unexpected highlights I hadn’t known about. I was shown how jewelry and souvenirs are made from old war remnants — something I would never have discovered on my own. The hotel owners truly took care of everything. I have never felt so well looked after. The room was lovely, and I slept incredibly well. My stay in Phonsavan was perhaps the highlight of Laos for me, and the hotel owners played a huge part in that. I can give nothing but an unconditional recommendation. Thank you so much!
