Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Great location and lovely house and grounds. Convenient to have the café - good coffee and friendly staff - so near. Enjoyed the sight of swooping house martins - there was a nest visible from our bedroom window.

Negative: I asked about getting some extra bed linen so I could sleep in one of the beds in the second room - I had had an uncomfortable first night sharing the double bed due to my state of health (no problem with the bed!). I was told there was only a skeleton staff at weekends and no one was available to find any. I wasn't expecting anyone to make the bed just to have a sheet/duvet cover.

Summary: A great stay in a house with plenty of space and lovely surroundings.
