Positive: A lovely quaint place. Our room was very well equipped and the attention to detail was quite impressive, even providing ear buds & cotton wool in the bathroom. The bed was really comfy too.

Negative: Our stay was Sunday to Tuesday. Despite advertising as a B&B with food available (including evenings) in the Poppy House café/restaurant situated below the accommodation, it was closed Sun-Mon. As was most of the town. So other than the morning we left, we were not able to get a meal! Fortunately we were visiting friends so didn't go hungry. Also the town clock strikes on the quarter hour and hour throughout day and night, so sleep is difficult. Earplugs (only one pair) were provided in our room, but these can be uncomfortable. Luckily my husband is a heavy sleeper so was able to sleep without them.

Summary: Nice stay but avoid Sun-Tue.
