The boat transfer schedule will take effect from september 11, 2023, till further notice, transfers: the estimated traveling time is 1 hour from phuket international airport to chalong pier and 30 - 40 minutes to the racha by speedboat. the traveling time may vary and is subject to traffic and weather conditions, from chalong pier to the racha (racha yai island) 11.30am* 1.00pm 4.00pm*, the racha (racha yai island) to chalong pier 8.00am* 11.00am 3.00pm*, * the 11.30am, 4pm scheduled boat from chalong pier to the racha and 8am, 3pm scheduled boat from the racha to chalong pier is limited to 20 seats and subject to seat availability only, the above schedule may change subject to weather and sea conditions, but the boat will not leave earlier than advertised as above in any case, kindly book the boat seat in advance at least 24 hours before arrival to ensure availability. please contact reservation staff via reservation@theracha.com, important notice: we recommend guests to arrive at the racha’s chalong lounge at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled boat departure time. the chalong lounge offers guests a retreat-like place to freshen up and check-in prior to boat transfer to the resort. guests will enjoy complimentary amenities – including welcome drinks, beverages, light snacks, complimentary wi-fi, charging stations, reading materials and shower facilities, for safety reasons, we do not operate the boat at night. the racha will be happy to assist guests in making alternative arrangements for overnight stay in phuket in the event of late arriving flights or delays but will not be financially responsible. the safety of our guests is paramount and in the event of unsafe adverse sea conditions, the racha may temporarily cease boat transfers until weather conditions improve. every effort will be made to assist our guests with alternative arrangements until the situation is considered safe for boat transfers to operate, guests are advised to book their departure flights accordingly allowing sufficient time for preflight check-in and formalities, the racha chalong lounge, is just before the pier parking lot, there is a big standing signage “the racha” outside. the lounge staff can be reached for assistance before departing from pier, address: 42/12-13 moo 5, rawai, muang, phuket 83130 thailand, (view map) tel: +66 (0) 76 381 687 or +66 (0) 76 381 739 (operating hours 8.00am – 5.00pm thailand time), if you have any concerns, please email us at reservation@theracha.com or call us at +66 (0) 76 383 566 (operating hours 8.00am – 6.00pm thailand time).please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation, guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply, payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. the property will contact you after you book to provide instructions, guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
