Enter the property and find yourself in the ground-floor entrance hall, leading to a double bedroom that is full of character and delightful furnishings. The ground floor also contains a shower room that comes equipped with a washer/dryer. Upstairs, is an open-plan living area with a kitchen that has been fitted with granite worktops and quirky dining furniture. Relax in the comfortable lounge on the double convertible sofa or in one of the armchairs, surrounded by the warmth of a wood burner-effect electric fire, and enjoy the views or watch a show on the TV. The enclosed courtyard at the front of the cottage (and behind the owner’s house) provides a great spot for al fresco dining at the bistro table and chairs for two. Within half a mile from the barn is the centre of the small market town. Here, you can wander the shops and classic inns, and board the open-top electric tram to soak up wonderful views as it travels through the Axe Valley. For a day out at the seaside, you won’t have to go far. Just 7 miles from the property is Lyme Regis, a town on the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
