Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely little cottage. Quiet, rural location with walks along the (deserted) road and through local fields and woodland right out of the door. Well located for trips to Bude / Sandymouth and other beautiful surrounding areas. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and had a fenced garden to let our dog run around in. Everything we needed was provided and the hosts were lovely.

Negative: The only slight downside is there are some noises from the farm at night. There was a squeaking noise that happened regularly throughout the night and did affect my friend's ability to sleep a bit. It's to be expected on a working farm, but worth noting in case this is an issue for anyone looking to stay somewhere very quiet!
