Our house is situated in a peaceful location, near the Strictly Protected Area, Murighiol Lake where you can find wonderful birds and biodiversity. We accommodate private boat rides in heart of the Delta. We propose tours in the splendid wilderness leading to the Black Sea-Perișor or a trip to Razelm Lake observing Popina Island. By car you can reach Halmyris, a roman fort gasping with wonderful views from the hills. My wife cooks traditional delicious fish dishes with vegetables from our garden.
We provide accommodation in houses which have been built and decorated with authentic natural materials such as wood and stones. You will love their traditional thatched roof made out of the reeds from the Danube River. No matter how hot or cold it is outside because the temperature inside remains constant all year long, making a cosy atmosphere for our guest. Our boat tours will run by men who have traditionally lived on fishing will give you a throughout insight into the nature and the wildlife in the protected area of the Danube Delta. You will enjoy the sight of different bird species and a lovely swim in a remote beach on the Black See! If you still have some extra time, you can always fancy a drive to the nearby old Roman-Byzantin fortress of Halmyris or the several lakes, strictly protected by UNESCO for being the home of pelicans, herons, ducks, etc. Of course, after exploring our area, you would love a taste of our traditional cuisine, based mainly on fresh caught fish and vegetables which have been grown in our orchard in a biological way.
