Summary: The place looked great in the photos and seemed similar to other places we’ve stayed at and enjoyed in other areas of Bangkok. Sadly, it was not nearly as nice as the photos looked. The owner/manager should try staying at some of the competitors to understand what quality hospitality means. “Sad” is the operative word. The staff, the conditions of the room, the guests, the pool, the breakfast, the amenities etc. all had a sad feel. We went over to grab a coffee down the road at another serviced apartment and the vibe was vastly better. No reason Aspen couldn’t match the neighborhood’s vibes.
