Positive: The lodge was beautiful, with everything that anyone would need. The site was beautifully kept, thanks to a fabulous maintenance team, especially Chris, who was always on hand when we needed him with the hot tub, and Tony, who helped us within seconds on Chris' day off. The 'Croft' restaurant and staff.... incredible. Food was stunning as was the restaurant, bar and outdoors but especially the young staff team. Both Amys, the young blonde lady and the dark-haired young lady on our last two nights, absolutely made our holiday. They work so hard between both the bar and restaurant, they are efficient, pleasant, good company and great fun, thank you all so much.

Negative: Time taken to return damage deposit. Upon handing keys back, we were told that deposit would be returned within a couple of hours, after housekeeping had checked the lodge. However, nothing had been returned by the end of the day. The following day, I telephoned and was told that the lady on reception had been busy, but she had not had time to process it but had processed it that morning. By that evening, nothing had been returned. It actually hit our bank the following day.
