Negative: Hello, We are contacting you regarding our reservation at Pensiunea Casa Serban, booked through Booking.com, for the period Friday evening, 18.07.2025 until Sunday 20.07.2025 at 11:00 AM. On the day of check-in, we called the owner who informed us that our reservation does not appear in his system. However, we were still accommodated without any problem. When we wanted to pay by card at checkout, the owner told us he does not have a card payment terminal and asked us to pay either cash or via a bank transfer to his personal card. Later, he asked if he could mark our reservation as a “no-show” on Booking.com, which we refused, as we were present and stayed at the property. We believe this situation is due to the owner’s error or negligence. After checking the cancellation and no-show policies, we see that applying a no-show charge would be unfair since we fulfilled the reservation and stayed at the accommodation. Please help us resolve this issue to ensure that: • we are not charged unfairly for a no-show that does not reflect the reality; • our stay is correctly recorded; • no unjust penalties are applied.
