The perfect base to explore the outstanding natural beauty of Northumberland’s countryside and coast, and its many fabulous attractions.
Catering to couples, groups and families, the recently renovated cottage is an oasis of calm, nestled in the historic and picturesque villages of West Thirston and Felton.
The Cottage is one of Charlie’s Cottages, a family-run Northumberland holiday business. Our cottages are self-managed, providing the personal touches and quality service our guests deserve.
The space
A single-level former farm worker’s cottage, which has been tastefully renovated to provide a cosy, comfortable and practical holiday for guests.
An open plan kitchen-dining room accompanies a separate lounge area for relaxing. The kitchen area has barstool seating which we find is a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the stone cottages and countryside opposite.
We have two bedrooms, a master room with a king-sized bed and a second bedroom with twin single beds.
The cottage has a separate bathroom with a shower.
Externally, there is dedicated off-road parking for two cars on the driveway, and at the back is a fully enclosed south-facing garden with a small patio area for al-fresco dining (recommended in summer!).
