Great for walking in the surrounding hills, cycling, mountaineering, skiing, monasteries. One hour from Bran Castle, Piatra Craiului mountain reserve, 1and 1/2 hours from Brasov. Namaiesti and Corbii de Piatra monasteries are close by, Curtea de Arges monastery is 50 km away. Campulung and the surrounding are a hidden gem in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains, away from the overcrowded Valea Prahovei, easier to reach by car via the Bucharest-Pitesti motorway. It is only 2 and 1/2 hours by car from Bucharest. My property is a peaceful oasis in the middle of orchards where you can totally unwind in the comfort of a high quality modern villa.
