Positive: Lovely unique unexpected touches such as local bread, milk whisky and mulled wine waiting for us on our arrival. Very helpful, friedly hosts and quiet, well mannered ducks and chicken neighbours. The hot tub was preheated and there were logs available for the firepit. There was a sauna available although we neglected to use it this time. Lovely unique decor with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Soft comfy bed and sofa. Well worth booking for a quiet, undisturbed country break that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere (which is exactly what we wanted) but still only being a 10 minute drive to the nearest town
