This former piggery, thought to date from the 17th century, has been re-modelled to offer spacious, light and airy accommodation; an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area.
Set in the heart of the village of Slingsby which is nestled in the Howardian Hills; an AONB, you are well placed to explore the surrounding countryside which is popular with walkers and cyclists alike. Castle Howard is only three miles from the The Pigsty and Sandsend and Whitby, York, Helmsley and The North Yorkshire Moors are all within easy reach.
The accommodation is largely open plan; a perfect space for couples to enjoy. The modern kitchen is well equipped for cooking an evening meal or preparing a hearty breakfast and is fitted with dishwasher and washer/dryer in addition to a Nespresso coffee machine.
